Sync guide

Sync your runs to DropPace

DropPace reads your runs from Apple Health on iPhone and from Health Connect on Android. Your tracker has to send them there first, and that is usually one switch inside the app you already run with.

Pick your phone below, then find the app you record with.

Strava

Strava can send your runs to Apple Health.

  1. In Strava: You tab, then the settings icon
  2. Manage Apps and Devices, then Health
  3. Tap Connect and allow Workouts and Routes
  4. Turn on Send to Health

Past runs may not transfer. Your route map comes through only for runs recorded in the Strava app itself; runs uploaded from a watch arrive without a route. Run missing? Open Strava and let it finish syncing.

Garmin Connect

Garmin Connect can send your runs to Apple Health.

  1. In Garmin Connect: More, then Settings, then Connect Apps
  2. Select Apple Health, then Connect with Apple Health
  3. Choose what Garmin Connect can access and tap Allow
  4. Leave Garmin Connect open until the transfer finishes

Connecting brings in about two weeks of past runs. Stats sync, but Garmin Connect does not send your route map to Apple Health, so drops show stats without the route. Transfers happen only while Garmin Connect is open. Run missing? Open Garmin Connect and leave it on screen until it finishes syncing.

Apple Watch

Apple Watch workouts land in Apple Health on their own.

You're already set up, and there's no sync to turn on. If workouts are missing, open Apple Health, tap your profile picture, then Devices, pick your watch, and check that Fitness Tracking is on. Route maps need Location Services allowed for Apple Watch Workout on both your iPhone and your watch.

Samsung Health

Samsung Health on iPhone can't send workouts to Apple Health.

Samsung Health for iPhone doesn't write workouts to Apple Health, and Galaxy Watch4 and later don't pair with iPhone. To use DropPace on iPhone, record runs with an app or watch that saves to Apple Health.

Nike Run Club

Nike Run Club can send your runs to Apple Health, but the switch lives in iPhone Settings.

  1. On iPhone: Settings, then Privacy & Security
  2. Tap Health, then Nike Run Club
  3. Turn on Workouts

Past runs may not transfer. Stats sync, but Nike Run Club keeps your route map inside its own app, so drops show stats without the route. Runs upload to Nike first. Run missing? Open Nike Run Club and let it finish syncing.

Fitbit (Google Health app)

Fitbit's app can send your runs to Apple Health. This connection is new and rolling out.

  1. In the Google Health (Fitbit) app: Connections, then Apps and services
  2. Under Add connections, tap Apple Health, then Get started
  3. Tap Agree and follow the prompts
  4. Allow sharing for Workouts, then tap Done

This connection is new and rolling out, so it may not be in your app yet. Past runs may not transfer. Runs reach Apple Health only after your Fitbit syncs to the app. Run missing? Open the app and let it finish syncing.

COROS

COROS can send your runs to Apple Health.

  1. In COROS: Profile, then Settings
  2. Tap 3rd Party Apps, then Data Sync, then Apple Health
  3. Pick the data types to sync and allow access

Past runs may not transfer. Runs reach Apple Health after your watch syncs to the COROS app. Run missing? Open COROS and let it finish syncing.

Polar Flow

Polar Flow can send your runs to Apple Health.

  1. In Polar Flow: More, then General settings
  2. Turn on the Apple Health toggle
  3. Pick the categories to sync, or tap Turn All Categories On
  4. Tap Allow

Sync now brings in about two weeks of past runs. Stats sync, but Polar Flow does not send your route map to Apple Health, so drops show stats without the route. Runs reach Apple Health after your watch syncs to Polar Flow.

Zepp (Amazfit)

Zepp can send your Amazfit workouts to Apple Health.

  1. In Zepp: Profile, then Add accounts
  2. Choose Apple Health
  3. Turn on the data types you want shared, including Workouts
  4. Allow the categories on the Health permission sheet

Past runs may not transfer. Workouts reach Apple Health only after Zepp syncs your watch, so open Zepp after a run. Each data type has its own toggle, so make sure Workouts is on. This is the Zepp app for Amazfit watches, not Zepp Life.

WHOOP

WHOOP can send your workouts to Apple Health.

  1. In WHOOP: More, then App Settings
  2. Tap Integrations, then Apple Health
  3. Tap Connect and choose Turn on all, with Workouts on
  4. Tap Allow

Past runs may not transfer. WHOOP has no GPS, so workouts arrive without a route map and drops show stats only. Needs an active WHOOP membership. If you also wear an Apple Watch, WHOOP's Workouts export can create duplicates.

Suunto

The Suunto app can send your workouts to Apple Health.

  1. Sync your watch in the Suunto app first
  2. In Suunto: Profile, then Settings
  3. Turn on Apple Health sharing
  4. Allow Workouts on the Health permission sheet

Only runs synced after you connect will appear, so past runs may not transfer. Workouts reach Apple Health after the Suunto app syncs your watch, so open it after a run. Menu names can differ between app versions.

Wahoo

The Wahoo app can send your workouts to Apple Health.

  1. In the Wahoo app: tap your profile icon
  2. Open Authorized Apps
  3. Choose Apple Health and allow access
  4. Turn on Auto-share next to Apple Health

Only workouts finished after you turn on Auto-share are sent; older ones can be re-shared one at a time from History. Older ELEMNT and RIVAL devices use the separate ELEMNT Companion app: Profile, then Linked Accounts, then Health app.

HUAWEI Health

HUAWEI Health can send your watch workouts to Apple Health.

  1. Pair your watch in HUAWEI Health
  2. Accept the Apple Health prompt and turn all categories on
  3. Missed it? In the iPhone Health app: profile, then Apps, then HUAWEI Health
  4. Open HUAWEI Health after each run so the watch syncs

Past runs may not transfer. Sync can lag, so open HUAWEI Health after a run and let it finish. Some workout types sync less reliably than others.

ASICS Runkeeper

Runkeeper can send your runs, including the route, to Apple Health.

  1. In Runkeeper: Me tab, then Settings
  2. Tap Apps and Devices
  3. Tap Apple Health, then Connect to Health and Turn On All
  4. Turn on the Health Sync toggle

Only runs recorded after you connect will appear; past runs don't transfer. Runs imported into Runkeeper from other services, like a Garmin or Suunto watch, don't sync either; only runs tracked in Runkeeper itself.

adidas Running

adidas Running can send your runs to Apple Health.

  1. In adidas Running: Profile
  2. Tap the gear icon, then Partner Accounts
  3. Turn on Apple Health
  4. Allow Workouts on the Health permission sheet

Past runs may not transfer. If runs don't appear, check the Apple Health permissions for adidas Running in the iPhone Health app.

MapMyRun

MapMyRun can send your runs to Apple Health.

  1. In MapMyRun: Menu, then Settings
  2. Tap Apple Permissions
  3. Turn on Apple Health and tap OK
  4. If categories are off: iPhone Settings, Apps, Health, Data Access

Only runs saved after you connect are sent; past runs don't transfer. MapMyRun doesn't send maps to Apple Health, so drops show stats without the route.

Phone only

On iOS 26 or later, the built-in Fitness app records runs straight into Apple Health.

  1. Open the Fitness app and tap the Workout tab
  2. Tap Outdoor Run, then Start
  3. Swipe up and tap End Workout when you finish

Older iOS
On earlier iOS there's no built-in way to record a run — use any free run app that saves to Apple Health.

Runs you record in the Fitness app are saved to Apple Health right away. Runs you recorded somewhere else won't move over.

Other app

Most run apps have a switch that sends your runs to Apple Health.

  1. Open your run app's profile or settings
  2. Look for Apps & Devices, Connected apps, Partner apps, Connections, or Apple Health
  3. Turn on the Apple Health option
  4. In the permission sheet, allow Workouts, and Routes when it's listed
  5. Already declined it? Open Apple Health, tap your profile picture, then Apps

Past runs may not transfer, so turn sync on before your next run. Most apps sync when you next open them. Run missing? Open your run app and let it finish syncing. Still stuck? Tap Contact Support in Settings and tell us which app you use.

Turned sync on and still nothing? Open your run app and let it finish syncing, then contact support and tell us which app you record with.
